The singer and teacher Olga Romanko offers her extensive international experience and artistic musical knowledge for lessons in opera and modern singing for both career artists and beginners. Lessons are also available for children aged 5 and up, focusing on basic music theory and piano learning, with both theoretical and practical parts, through a pleasant and fun teaching methodology. The artist, with a vast international experience in teaching singing, offers her teaching services for organizing and conducting masterclasses in conservatories and music schools. Lessons are held in Lugano, but home lessons are also available upon request. The teacher has experience in schools and conservatories throughout Europe and holds a degree in vocal teaching, a title recognized in Switzerland as well. First trial lesson is free. PROFESSIONAL CURRICULUM - WWW.OLGAROMANKO.NET Esteemed and refined interpreter of the international opera scene, the Italian-Russian soprano Olga Romanko graduated in singing from the Gnessin Conservatory in her city. Her career began with leading roles in new productions in major European theaters, including Desdemona in Otello at the Arena di Verona, under the direction of Daniel Oren and alongside Placido Domingo. She then debuted at the Teatro Regio in Turin in Jerusalem, conducted by Bruno Campanella, followed by roles at the Hamburgische Staatsoper in Gluck's Armida and in Respighi's Fiamma (with Gelmetti and De Ana), at the Opera di Roma she performed as Fedora at the Teatro de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, alongside Placido Domingo. After appearing as Aida directed by Daniel Oren, in May 1999 she returned to the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples to perform Iolanta and sang Madama Butterfly at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. In 2000, she debuted at the Wiener Staatsoper in the role of Leonora in Il Trovatore with Franco Bonisolli, followed by Aida in a colossal Chinese production at the Shanghai Sport Stadium in front of 75,000 spectators; she participated in a soirée in honor of the Grimaldi family of the Principality of Monaco in the role of Aida (alongside Renato Bruson and Ghena Dimitrova). In May 2001, she once again performed as Aida alongside Josè Cura at the Megaron Concert Hall in Athens, in a production by Pier Luigi Pizzi. In September 2001, she again portrayed Aida in the immense setting of the Stade de France in Paris, and then sang Verdi's Requiem conducted by Bruno Bartoletti for the closing of the season of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. She performed Tosca at the Zurich Opera House with Salvatore Licitra. She sang Tosca in Oviedo and in the Tosco Lombardo Lyric Circuit, La Fanciulla del West at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. She sang Amelia in Un Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, conducted by Maestro Daniele Gatti.
