About this service

I was born in Vevey on November 25, 1961 and at the age of 8 I moved to Ticino. Today, I live with my husband and my 3 children on a small farm in Malcantone, in the Nerocco hamlet of the municipality of Bedigliora. After attending several workshops on modeling techniques, glaze preparation, and firing methods, in the nineties, I specialized in the art of pottery by attending the studio of the ceramist Ueli Wengen for 2 years. The practice of pottery became more and more intense, to the point where I decided to purchase a pottery wheel and a kiln and make it my profession. In my workshop, I constantly experiment with new forms on the wheel or by hand modeling, often using stoneware, which I prefer for its hardness and rocky appearance. New glazes, firing methods, and special surface preparations make this profession a true passion for me that evolves and changes with new discoveries. In addition to the various students who come to my studio, I teach in adult courses in the canton of Ticino and in some elementary schools in Malcantone.
